NFC Public Company Limited, represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nataphong Ratanasuwanthavee, was honored to participate as a speaker in the panel discussion, “Powering The Green Revolution” alongside Mr. Khwanpat Sutthithammakit, Senior Officer at the World Bank, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Tiangboontham, Deputy Director of the Program Management Unit on Area-Based Development (PMU A). The panel exchanged insights on advancing green industry and accelerating the transition toward sustainable development.
The discussion took place during I-EA-T Fair 2026, held under the theme “One Mind, One I-EA-T: Powering Global Industry” at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Organized by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), the event was presided over by Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry.
The Minister also joined a keynote session titled “Decoding a Volatile World: Building Competitive Advantages for Thai Industry,” where he shared strategic perspectives on how Thailand can navigate four major global transitions—digital transformation, energy transition, climate change, and demographic shifts. The session featured Ms. Melinda Good, Division Director for Thailand and Myanmar at the World Bank, who provided additional insights into the evolving global industrial landscape.
Following the discussion, NFC joined more than 24 private-sector organizations as a witness to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the Closed-Loop Management of Resources and End-of-Life Materials within the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Complex. The collaboration aims to promote efficient resource utilization, strengthen integrated resource management systems, and establish collaborative mechanisms to maximize the value of end-of-life materials through circular economy practices across the industrial estate.
In the afternoon, Mr. Sumet Tangprasert, Governor of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), participated in the panel discussion “Thailand’s Future Industrial Investment Landscape,” together with representatives from the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC), the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Office.
During the session, the IEAT reaffirmed its commitment to transforming its role from an infrastructure developer into a high-quality economic zone that serves as a hub for advanced manufacturing, investment, innovation, and technology development. This vision includes fostering future industries, expanding business networks, and building an integrated business ecosystem by removing regulatory barriers, upgrading smart infrastructure, implementing advanced digital management systems, and promoting higher ESG standards and green supply chains to strengthen Thailand's long-term industrial competitiveness.
